Games Global’s Area Link Phoenix Firestorm was the top slot on bet365’s Ontario chart for September 2026, according to the operator’s monthly report published on 13 October. The ranking reflects bet365’s own player activity, so it describes one casino’s audience rather than the whole Ontario market.
What bet365 reported for Ontario
The Ontario-specific detail is limited to the number-one slot. Area Link Phoenix Firestorm is made by Area Vegas, a Games Global subsidiary. The reports we found do not publish a full Ontario top ten, Ontario risers or Ontario new entries, so we do not speculate about the rest of the chart.
The Canada-wide picture
bet365 also published a Canada-wide chart, which gives more context.
- Area Link Phoenix Firestorm was first, returning to the top after slipping to second in August.
- Amazing Link Zeus (SpinPlay Games, another Games Global studio) was second.
- Amazing Link Zeus Boost was third, up 35 places.
bet365 said September in Canada was mainly marked by strong momentum for the Area Link, Amazing Link and Gold Blitz series, all Games Global products. The operator tracks about 7,500 online slots and ranks them using a mix of revenue, stakes, sessions and engagement.
How to read a ranking like this
A chart built on revenue and stakes shows what players spend time and money on, not which slots pay best or are fairest. Popularity can also be driven by where a game is placed on the lobby. A slot that tops the chart may still have a modest return to player, and the figure can differ between operators, so check the information panel of any game before you play. The Games Global catalogue is large, and our Games Global slots page lists the studio’s games you can try for free.
Players in Ontario also see fewer features than on international sites, because autoplay and turbo spins are not permitted; our explainer on the rules covers what that means in practice.
Why slot charts matter in Ontario
Slots and other casino games are where most of Ontario’s regulated market sits. In iGaming Ontario’s data for August 2026, casino games accounted for 90 per cent of cash wagers and 85 per cent of revenue, and iGaming Ontario’s listing counts 49 operators running 84 gaming websites. With that much play concentrated on casino content, a handful of studios can shape what most players see, which is why operators publish these charts. Our August market update has the full figures.
Two operators, two charts
bet365’s ranking and Hard Rock Bet’s September list are not directly comparable, because bet365 weighs revenue, stakes, sessions and engagement while Hard Rock Bet counts individual players. The two do overlap in one place: Games Global titles. They fill bet365’s Canada-wide top three, and three Games Global slots (12 Masks of Fire Drum Frenzy, Cash Flip Medusa Gold and Dragons of Arcane Wild II) also appear in Hard Rock Bet’s top ten, which we cover in our report on its most-played Ontario slots. Different leaders, same studio family, suggests that link-style Games Global content is resonating across Ontario operators, though two charts are not proof of a market-wide trend.
