A review starts with research: official listings, operator-published pages, and the structured facts already recorded for the brand. Those sources are compared. Confirmed facts, conflicted facts and unknown facts are kept apart so a gap is not filled with a convenient guess.

Writing turns that record into the public page. Fact checking compares the draft with the same sources. Later updates follow the same split: a new official page can change a dated status, and the date travels with the change.

Publishing puts the finished page on the site. It does not add a claim that research did not record. Commercial conversations, if they happen, stay outside that sequence. A partnership enquiry does not choose the score, the unknowns we leave open, or whether a brand is included.

The public work is the review, not the referral. Compensation that may follow a commercial link is explained on the Affiliate Disclosure page. It does not create a testing claim we did not make, and it does not close an unknown fact. Which reviews are published, and when, is our decision. At launch the published reviews are all of partner brands, and the Affiliate Disclosure says so.

The team byline means the publication accepts editorial responsibility for the page. If a fact is labelled operator-published, that label still belongs to the operator. If a fact is unknown, the byline does not convert it into a completed test.
