Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus 2500 is available to Ontario players at Hard Rock Bet. The studio released the game worldwide on 28 September 2026, and Hard Rock Bet included it among 49 new titles in its Ontario update of 9 October, eleven days later. This report keeps the two sets of facts apart: what Pragmatic Play says about the game everywhere, and what Hard Rock Bet has confirmed for Ontario.
What Hard Rock Bet has confirmed for Ontario
Hard Rock Bet’s post names Gates of Olympus 2500 in its list of new casino games for 9 October. It gives no release date, description, stakes or return-to-player figure for the title, so the game’s Ontario settings are not published in that announcement. At the time of writing, 20 October, Hard Rock Bet is the only Ontario operator we have found confirming the game; other sites may add it later. Our Hard Rock Bet review covers the operator itself.
What Pragmatic Play says about the game
The following details come from the studio’s published information and are not specific to Ontario.
- A 6-reel, 5-row pay-anywhere slot: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid win and start a tumble.
- High volatility, with a maximum win of 25,000 times the stake; individual multiplier symbols reach 2,500x.
- Multipliers that land on the same spin are added together and applied to the win.
- Four or more scatters trigger 15 free spins, with five more for further scatters. A wheel spin before the round picks one of four feature rounds.
- Return to player is 96.52% by default, but Pragmatic Play also supplies 95.50% and 94.50% versions, and the operator chooses which to run. No hit frequency has been published.
- Stakes run from 0.20 to 240, or up to 1,320 with the highest ante setting.
Why the Ontario version may differ
The studio’s description also lists buy-in features, super spins and replay options “where the operator makes them available”. Ontario has its own slot rules, including a ban on autoplay, so the Ontario game may not offer every option in the international description. Because the return-to-player setting is chosen by the operator, check the game’s information panel at Hard Rock Bet for the figure that applies to you rather than assuming 96.52%. Our report on Ontario’s slot rules explains what the regulator requires.
A quick checklist before you play
Because the Ontario listing does not spell out the game’s settings, it is worth doing four things first. Open the information panel and note the return-to-player figure; compare it with 96.52%, the studio’s default, and with the 95.50% and 94.50% settings it also supplies. Check the stake range, since the studio’s published range runs up to 240 and the Ontario range may be narrower. Try the slot’s base game on a demo of an earlier title to see whether tumbling pay-anywhere play suits you. And decide how much you are prepared to lose in a session before the first spin, because a high-volatility game can run for a long stretch without a meaningful win. Our guide to why the same slot can have a different RTP explains why two operators can run the same game at different settings.
Where this fits in the series
This is the latest sequel to a slot that has become one of Pragmatic Play’s best-known. You can try the original on our Gates of Olympus demo page and the follow-up on the Gates of Olympus 1000 page before deciding whether the higher volatility of the newer games suits you. A high-volatility slot with a 25,000x ceiling pays rarely and can drain a balance quickly, so set your session budget first.
Hard Rock Bet is regulated in Ontario; you can confirm any operator with the Ontario casino checker. Players must be 19 or older and in the province. If you want to step away, BetGuard lets you opt out of all regulated Ontario sites, and our responsible gambling page lists support options.
