How to submit a correction

Email info@ontariocasinoslist.com with the page URL, the exact claim, why you believe it is wrong, and a supporting official URL or other public evidence. Readers and operators use the same process. There is no separate operator channel.

A screenshot or a quote without a source is weaker than a dated official page. If the evidence is behind a login, say so. We will not ask you for account passwords or identity documents.

How claims are checked

We compare the published sentence with the sources already on the page and with the new evidence. If the official record has changed, we update the dated status or the attributed figure. If two official pages still disagree, we keep the conflict visible and use the more cautious planning figure.

Unknown facts stay unknown until a source supports a change. Unsupported requests do not alter published conclusions. A useful request names one claim at a time and points to a URL a reader can open without a login. If several sentences are wrong for the same reason, say so once and list the URLs. We still check each claim against the record.

What a change can look like

Not every email produces the same public edit.

Material correction
A fact readers would use to decide — market status, a supporting fact for a scored judgement, a payment direction, or a safety tool — was wrong or outdated. The page is updated and, where the template shows it, the updated date changes.
Routine maintenance
A typo, a broken link, a clearer heading, or a wording fix that does not change the factual claim.
No change
The published sentence already matches the sources, the requested change is unsupported, or the request is for favourable wording rather than a factual fix.

How decisions are made

Commercial relationships do not affect correction decisions. Partners and non-partners follow the same evidence standard. A request does not guarantee removal, a higher score, or a change in emphasis.

We do not keep a permanent public correction log. The evidence of a substantial change is the updated page and its date, where that date is shown. Material factual updates receive an updated date where appropriate. Routine wording fixes may not change a visible date.

After we look at the evidence

If we change the page, the new wording should match the source we accepted. If we do not change the page, that is also a decision: the published sentence already matches the record, or the requested change asks for a preference rather than a fact. We may ask for a clearer URL. We will not ask for login details.

Market-status claims keep a status-checked date. A correction that only updates that date is still a dated check, not a new quality judgement.
