BetMGM has an exclusive on Blueprint Gaming’s new House of the Dragon slot in Ontario. In a release datelined Toronto on 20 October 2026, BetMGM said the game is available only at BetMGM Casino in Ontario and Alberta for an initial six-week period. Blueprint, a UK studio owned by Germany’s Merkur Group, has made the game from HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series.
What the exclusive means for Ontario players
For the length of the window, BetMGM is the only regulated Ontario casino that can offer the game. Six weeks from the 20 October announcement runs to about 1 December. The release calls it an “initial” period and does not say what happens next, so other Ontario casinos may or may not add the slot after the window ends.
The release describes the game rather than its maths. It does not give a return-to-player (RTP) figure, a reel layout, a volatility rating or stake limits. Those should appear on the game’s information screen at BetMGM. Check the RTP there before playing, because Ontario operators can run different RTP settings for the same title. The features Blueprint lists
- Dragon’s Wheel. The central bonus feature, which Blueprint says builds on its existing Collect mechanic.
- Dance of the Dragon Spins. A free-spins round in which Dragon Egg enhancements change the reels in different ways.
- Dragon’s Chest, Dragon’s Fire and Dragon’s Lock. Respin sequences that bring expanded symbols and special reel layouts.
As with every slot in Ontario, the game runs without autoplay or turbo spins. Ontario’s rules require a single manual spin each time, a point the AGCO enforced this year when it fined a game supplier over autoplay.
A repeat of the Game of Thrones launch
This is the second Blueprint title from the same franchise to open at BetMGM first. According to the release, Blueprint’s Game of Thrones slot debuted exclusively at BetMGM Casino in Ontario in April 2026 and set records across several of BetMGM’s performance measures. After Alberta’s regulated market opened in July, it became one of BetMGM’s top-performing games there. BetMGM also cites the analyst firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, which ranked the game among Canada’s top new online casino launches.
Exclusive launches have become a regular tool for Ontario operators. BetMGM did the same with its Traitors-themed slot earlier this autumn, and Hard Rock Bet lists timed exclusives in its weekly new-games posts. For players, an exclusive tells you where a game is available. It says nothing about its RTP or how it plays.
