BetMGM Launches The Traitors: Faithful Riches Slot in Ontario

BetMGM launched The Traitors: Faithful Riches, an online slot based on the reality competition series, at its Ontario and Alberta casinos on 17 September 2026. The game, developed by Games Global, is the first title under a new exclusive agreement between BetMGM and All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment.

BetMGM said the deal gives it exclusive online casino rights to the show’s intellectual property for slots, table games and non-traditional casino games. The release was timed to the 17 September premiere of The Traitors: New Blood, a version of the U.S. series with non-celebrity contestants, hosted by Alan Cumming, that brought the show to NBC after four seasons on Peacock.

The first of several planned titles

BetMGM describes Faithful Riches as the foundation of a wider Traitors casino franchise, with more games and formats planned, although it has not published a release schedule or the financial terms of the agreement. “Television and movie IP is a key pillar of our content strategy,” said Oliver Bartlett, senior vice-president of gaming at BetMGM, in the company’s announcement.

The same game was released in the United States, where industry reports list it at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In Canada, it is available at BetMGM Casino in Ontario and in Alberta, which opened its own regulated online market on 13 July 2026.

Why exclusive titles matter

Licensed television and film themes have become one of the main ways operators try to stand apart when many of them draw on the same game studios. BetMGM says the agreement makes it the exclusive destination for Traitors-themed casino content, so the game is not expected to appear at other Ontario operators, and BetMGM’s Ontario home page marks Faithful Riches as an exclusive.

In Ontario, BetMGM Canada Inc. is listed in iGaming Ontario’s operator directory for four sites: BetMGM Casino, BetMGM Poker, BetMGM Sportsbook and a Wheel of Fortune-branded casino. The new slot is offered through BetMGM Casino.

What it means for players in Ontario

Real-money play is limited to people who are 19 or older and physically in Ontario; Alberta’s minimum age is 18. A branded theme does not change how a slot works, and the game’s rules and paytable, available from inside the game, are the place to check its features before playing.
