What BetMGM runs in Ontario

BetMGM's Ontario site publishes three products: an online casino, a poker room and a sportsbook. The iGaming Ontario directory lists the casino under BetMGM Canada Inc. The poker room and sportsbook are described on BetMGM's own Ontario pages, and we confirmed them there on 14 September 2026 rather than in the regulator's listing. Only the casino product is in scope here; the poker and sports products are outside what we assess. If you are looking at casino.on.betmgm.ca, this is the company the regulator's registry names.

Who is behind the brand

BetMGM's corporate site describes BetMGM LLC as jointly owned by MGM Resorts International and Entain. That is the group behind the brand. What we have not found in the sources we reviewed is a public statement of how BetMGM Canada Inc. fits inside that structure, so we do not describe its ownership beyond what the registry shows. If that changes, this section will change with it.

What this means when you play

BetMGM states that its Ontario products are licensed and regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and limited to players aged 19 or older who are physically in the province. Its help centre says Geoguard is used to confirm your location, so expect that check to run when you log in or place a bet.

The company is also the one that handles your money once you request a withdrawal. BetMGM publishes a typical internal processing period of 3 to 5 business days, and only then does the payment method's own delivery window start.

How it is regulated

BetMGM Canada Inc. appears on the iGaming Ontario regulated-market directory. We last checked the listing on 4 October 2026. In Ontario, AGCO is the regulator and iGaming Ontario conducts and manages the private market, so a listed operator works under both; our guide on AGCO and iGaming Ontario explains the split.

A directory listing shows that an operator is part of the regulated market. It is not a quality rating from us, and it does not tell you how a particular withdrawal or complaint will go. We have not stored an AGCO registration number for this entity, so we do not quote one.
